Primary use is for application into UAN or coating urea which will be applied straight, not in a fertiliser blend.

Independent field trials conducted by Professor Keith Cameron, Professor Hong J. Di, and Dr Andriy Podolyan at the Centre for Soil and Environmental Research, Lincoln University (New Zealand) have demonstrated the effectiveness of Glaze Extend in reducing ammonia volatilisation and maintaining performance in blended fertilisers.
Key Results
- 50% reduction in ammonia volatilisation compared with untreated urea.
- Up to 71% reduction after 72 hours in a 50:50 blend with Granular Ammonium Sulphate (GAS).
- 61% reduction after 21 days of storage in a 50:50 GAS blend.
- Maintained effective urease inhibition after 90 days in fertiliser blends.
- Delivered 48–60% reductions in ammonia volatilisation after 90 days when blended with MAP, DAP, GAS and MOP.
